While attending Croften House School in Vancouver Susan attained her life saving certificate and conducted swimming lessons. After graduating from Croften House she achieved honours in her Bachelor of Arts finally graduating from UBC with a Masters Degree in Psychology. She devoted many years to developmentally-challenged children.
Susan loved to swim in the ocean at Bounday Bay, to walk around Jericho Beach Park and feed the ducks and bunnies and to sit on the beach at Spanish Banks. She also loved swimming in the pool where she lived in Kitsilano and eating White spot hamburgers. A favourite time of year for Susan was Christmas time as this was when she could go out to different shops and buy little gifts for others.
After being cremated Susan was buried in the Boundary Bay Cemetary following a service attended by family and friends.
Susan is survived by her mother, Audrey; her two brothers, Tom and Grant; her nephews, Aaron and Jason; and her niece, Megan.
